Well my account was hacked money on one of my old chars gone, and now its locked and 'under investigation' thanx to blizzard.

Well here's how it goes....

My cousin and I have each others info so we can dual log accounts.(against tos i know)

He emailed me yesterday saying:

why you using my mats to make bags for yourself and sending them and money to ...

ummm I haven't been on that server in 2 weeks......

I didn't make

so I quickly changed my password and talked to a GM.

Well he locked my account so no WoW atm.:((

And so the boomkin tank saga begins

Well I look at it this way...

If it works I'll be a Boomkin tank, if it doesn't I'll be a fully epic'd boomkin who needs new enchants...not that bad either way.

In the coming weeks I will be posting the theory, gearlists, and sources I am using in this endeavor.

The character, Ihumptrees, was created on Drenden yesterday, and if the servers weren't down atm, I would have my bear form. I figure that I should be able to give this a go and obtain most of the epics within 10-12 weeks.

So wish me luck.

Grinding 101: How to grind in WoW and not lose your mind...(or at least gain levels)

First and foremost WoW was created as a Quest based mmorpg, so it is generally faster to level solely on quests. A skilled grinder, however can do very well in exp/hour as well as making a decent amount of money while you grind. This post will overview the basics of grinding, which most people already know(but I got to start somewhere), and later posts will highlight terrific grinding areas, where you can earn nice exp and money.

Grinding 101
(The Basics)

Grinding is the repetitious killing of Mob X for Y amount of time. The negative factor of grinding Z is proportional to your downtime, travel time between mobs, etc.

Eww math... if you can't do simple math you should not be grinding(or download an exp/hr addon), plain and simple. If you can't stand doing the same thing for hours at a time, don't grind. If you like talking in chat all the time, get vent or don't grind. Get the point... GOOD!

So the goal is to get the highest amount of experience in the least amount of time. No DUH!!!

Example:
You kill a level 11 mob every 30 seconds with no downtime for 100exp, therefore you earn 12000xp/hour. Woot you're saying I never turn in that kinda of exp.
But then...
You choose to kill a level 15 mob for 150exp. 50 more exp per kill you say. But it takes you 50 seconds to kill one with 10 seconds downtime between mobs...So thats 150exp per minute, meaning now you are earning 9000xp/hour.
WOW thats a 3000xp/hour decrease in experience, and I'm having to eat and drink.

So if you are going to grind, you want to kill whatever type of mob you can kill efficiently and quickly in order to maximize your exp/hour.

Hence get a exp/hour addon(I'm testing a couple atm)

Things not to do while grinding...

Chatting(typing that is) can easily decrease your exp/hour by thousands. That much? While it may not seem like alot, it adds up; also you are usually not useing as many of your skills while you are typing.

Why do you state so many already know facts and just skim over most of this class...?
-Simple.. this is Grinding 101, it is meant to be a quick, simple intro to grinding. If you want facts, tatics, places to grind, good money spots.. well you just have to wait until Grinding 201, 301, 401, and beyond. This post is meant to leave out all the boring details. This post is a very very very very quick overview of the future of this site(not counting my rants).. if you need a Grinding 102 before we move to 201 just let me know.

Well, I have nothing to say about WoW, since I am playing around with multiple characters at the moment to see which one feels better to me...

So,

This post is going to sound if I am racist just because I am going to talk about more black people than white; but if I was to talk about more white people than black wouldn't I still be racist.

The mayor of Detroit having an affair on city money, using city issued phones and pagers...

Wannabes from the high school where I graduated posting pictures of themselves on Myspace with fake guns, drugs, and money; hence getting them expelled from school

Wannabes from that same high school fighting outside the entrance of the homecoming dance, getting it cancelled.

You filling in the blank that wannabes=mostly young black men with their pants around their ankles.

Having fun...actually I am, wow not WOW, I think I might actually enjoy this...

I kept it short and sweet, one of the biggest problems I have with most of the people in wow is they don't get to the point when they whisper you...

WoW... I mean WOW

First...'By Any Means Necessary' does not mean HAXING, if you hax GO AWAY and do not email me...(some noob already emailed me and asked me to send him hax)...

Ok now that we stated that time to make a character hehe...umm or haha...

Now I have alot and I mean ALOT of characters, but I'm starting over, for the last time hopefully, which means a new character and a new realm.

Drenden you say, the bloggers land of goodliness(yes I tend to make up words so deal with it); honestly I've never played on a PVE realm so I'll give it a go.

Horde or Alliance? I refuse to check the WoW Server stats to see if there are more horde or allies, I mean what fun is that. Since most of my past characters have been horde, I guess I'll roll an ally.

What class foshizzle? Well... that's the question isn't it... I so wanna do another squishy priest, my first WoW character so long ago was a priest (undead), and I remember awhile back about a Need More Rage post... more specifically a little picture about level 6 priests getting AC guild invites... I WANT ONE FOSHIZZLE!

So if I go priest what race, which race would be the best for grinding? Shadow you say...last I checked shadow wasn't a race(a race is with gnaked gnomes, love ya BRK), but anywho...Choices come down to Night elf, Drainummhoweveryouspellit, and Dwarf...human isn't a choice its the noob way of life. Dwarf for pvp, Drainummhoweveryouspellit for raid mana regenish(I guess), or Night Elf for a foshizzle mana free dot every 30secs O_O. I think you know the answer.

Anyway when I get home from work tonight, I'm gonna grind me a priestie to 10 so I can post an armory sig at the bottom of the blog tomorrow.
